I think we will crush them actually. (3-0 would be my prediction.)
With a better defence we will improve offensively as well.

****ing hell, you don't usually hear about injury prone keepers, but with our luck, we just manage to sign one. The only good thing is that Shez is generally reliable in the injury department so he's barely ever out, but the only bad thing is he isn't that very good always and with no real competition, he might slack.

Arsenal: Martinez, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs; Flamini; Sanchez, Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla; Welbeck.

Subs: Huddart, Bellerin, Rosicky, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Campbell.

Monreal at CB, and Flamini stays in the side, with Ramsey coming in and Chamberlain dropping to the bench. Slightly disappointed Bellerin isn't starting, but I can see why Wenger went with more experience at the back.

Still, it looks like a return to 4141, and I just hope it works for once this season...

No way that defence is keeping a clean sheet, a draw is the best we can hope for. Looks like another season of finishing 2nd in the group and out in the last 16.

Disappointed Koscielney isn't fit for this.

Also annoyed Flamini is starting another game - he has been ****ing useless lately.

A draw at best. That defence plus Flamini is piss poor. I thought Kos would be fit for this, but sadly that's not the case.

Agreed, flamini hasn't done well in recent games. I'd have gone for a Ramsey-wilshere middle two and given Campbell or podolski a chance out wide. Though we are yet to see if Ramsey and wilshere can play as a middle two.

Our bench on paper looks strong but podolski and rosicky are yet to make the impact they would have liked and haven't performed to expectation when opportunities have arisen. Hope if one of them comes on today they regain a bit of form.

I hope we don't make our usual slow start and give this lot any encouragement.

Amazing that we are having to play Monreal at CB. Stunning really, in all his years, Wenger has not made a bigger **** up than the one he made in the summer, when he did not sign another CB.

We could of gone with chambers in the middle and bellerin out wide, though I'm sure there is some reason we didn't!
