    The Man Utd fanboys are out in force again, questioning why Jagielka got called up ahead of Carrick, Scholes or Ferdinand.

    The answer is that Carrick burned a bridge by refusing to be a squad player, Scholes is retired and Jagielka brings the best out of Lescott whereas Ferdinand is far too similar to Lescott.

    Gah, the ignorance of English football fans when it comes to the national team drives me insane!

    I was more confused at the fact that Barry is a midfielder, and Jagielka is a defender.

    The thought, I imagine, is that Phil "Neville" Jones can play in midfield if necessary.

    I can't believe Roy didn't call up Johnny Haynes. That will cost us the Euros...

    And what about Cohen? Way better than Jagielka, but does he get a look in. Does he Hell.

    Very good at supporting wingers with overlapping runs, you know.
