Sad to see the lad go, but more so for him. He and Connolly were virtually inpenetrable for the first half of the season last year. Felt he deserved a chance in the Prem.
agree with that. Think he has a better chance of Prem football with Saints west ham or Brighton. i won't knock him because he did a job for us. Just goes to show how far we have come and what we have to look forward to. Guess this means the end for players like Dan, Rowland, Cook, Hulse and co.
Good luck to Gorkssy. He's been a model professional and good servant to the club since coming here. Sorry to see him go, but it was becoming obvious that he wasn't in NW's plans. Hope he manages to enjoy his football with the plastic blue stripes. Thanks Kaspars.
That is a hell of a shame. Good luck to Kaspars. I wonder if we will ever find out if he and Uncle Neil fell out, or whether it was just a lack of pace that has kept him out of the team. We could have done with his grit this season.
Can anyone tell me why we've sold arguably our best defender and have no replacement - unless its Gabbidon??? We dont have any cover at all and teh Latvian albeit not the fastest player was pretty steady???
Guys you don't think NW would let him go unless we had something sorted. Agree he was a good Championship player for us but we are now in the Premiership and should be looking at better players. I am quicker than Gorkss and i can hardly run. Sorry he is just not quick enough. Good luck to him but we need to look to the future.
I think Warnock is well aware that Gorkss is better than any of Ramage, ****tu, Hall and Perone but, quite simply, none of the others are wanted by anyone. Someone will definitely be coming in anyway. Gabbidon got slated unfairly after the Bolton game and was superb at Everton so he'll be good enough with someone like Onuoha.
I'm with you on that WBA.. I thought that he was our most consistent, bravest and most honest of defenders. I do hope that we've got a quality replacement lined, but even if we do I'm gutted to see him go.... And I'm sticking with my username in protest!

Didn't like losing last night but as Ellers says move on, Kasper good bit of business, We are puppets maybe a few deals have already been done who knows ... but I for one trust NW after all he has done brilliantly so far and he deserves his chance. Whoever comes to the club i am sure he will work his magic and we can only get better.
Why can't one of these esteemed SSN reporters or someone on Talksport ask Neil: "What was the deal with Gorkks then?" I'd love to hear why Neil didn't think he was worth a chance.
