I'm talking about Keane saying that Fergie has no loyalty, when ironically when our former captain was at Sunderland and the tough got going for him, he left.
If someone was your friend and work colleague for 15 years and you helped him gain his position and power, then years later he released a book calling you a cnut, would you class him as a loyal friend? Know thats a simplified version of what happened, but the analogy stands
I think you might also need to take your very own anti United or Fergie glasses off as it goes. Firstly, I would wager highly Keane doesn't have any mates. At least not at United considering why he left. Secondly, let's say for arguments he has some, how in God's name has Ferguson slagged them all off? From what's been quoted, and I haven't read it but let's not worry about that as it certainly hasn't stopped you, he's hardly slagged any United players off, bar Keane. I don't think what he's said about Beckham or Rooney is even close to that. And thirdly, Keane had it coming. He's done nothing but have digs at United and Ferguson since he left so can hardly complain, especially about loyalty.
I dont have any Anti-Utd agenda whatsoever, and have the utmost respect for SAF, acknowledging he is a great manager. But as a person, the more I hear about him, the more despicable he becomes. I also wish people would stop blathering on about people not having read the book. Unless the quotes that have been released are fake, then I dont need to read the book, since I am commenting on the quotes themselves, and not the book. Maybe the word mates was the wrong word to use in terms of Keane, I should have said Peers. He, in round about ways, makes negative comments about Beckham, Keane, Rooney and Gerrard. Even if what he stated was true, there was no need to make the comments other than to shock and sensationalise and sell copies. Thats what Keane was talking about in terms of loyalty. SAF has become rich and famous from football, and then releases a book in which he disses alot of his contemporaries, managers and players alike, and there was just really no need for it.
Oh, ok then. Yet another brainwashed, outraged drone with an opinion based solely on some quotes released without any context by the media. Pretty much like 90% of this whole ****ing website.
Yup the problem is the 90% and not the 10%. Ill go ahead and make a 2 hour video entitled "Why Ruffmongo is a twat" and post a 30 second trailer on Not606. But you couldnt complain about it, not unless you watched the entire 2 hour video and heard the context of a title.
Keane has no right to say anything on the subject, has been a bitter prick about Manchester United since he left, Sir Alex for me was just telling it how he saw it, he does a lot of praising in his book as well. Context is everything by the way the media consistently make players ect look bad with quotes out of context and because people jump all over them it basically enables it. They've done the same with this, as for trying to sell his book he could literally have written anything and it still would have made a ridiculous amount of sales.
Whys that? Because YOU said so? Why is Slur Alex allowed to tell it "how he saw it", yet Keane has to keep Schtum?
Given what Roy Keane has done for Utd he has more than earned the right to say what he thinks. After all as he said he gave everything for that shirt and one a lot of trophies for that bitter old man and that's how he thanks him The irony is, other than a few of you on here I can't think of a single person who has defended fergie
They're upset with Keane because he's got the balls to say on tv if Utd are average or not. Don't know why some are getting worked up over this as he's only saying what everybody can see
Exactly, its indefensible. But its okay, we dont know the context. Maybe SAF's book says "Everyone thought Keane was a gobby cnut, but I loved him" and the media just picked out the "...Keane was a gobby cnut..." part, but I doubt it.
Well yes, you've proved my point entirely you thick twat. How many times have you seen the trailer of a film and went to see it on that basis and it turns out the trailer is the only good bit and the rest of the film is ****e? QED. Thank you.
Yet judge a book on the basis of a few deliberately chosen excerpts. Proving yourself to be the twat you so clearly are here aren't you? Best you go back to bullying kids with mental issues, that's clearly your level.
Atleast you admit it Im not judging the book, Im judging the quotes dumbass. Ive never once critiqued the book.
