Rovers on Radio Bristol: Every Thursday 6pm - 7pm

I'm not bothering again as much as Tilson was a great player and one of my favourites I'm getting fed up with discussions about yesteryear their so much to discuss about current day Rovers.

 

Chairman Steve Hamer will be on the show this week. Should be good

 

That's more like it, we have something to do with current affairs and not a whole hour about a game that happened decades ago

 

I bet most questions will be about UWE. He wont say much though will he.

Hamer confirms we wont be appealing any further regarding Sainsburys and the Mem.

Also Hamer couldnt give info regarding funding the UWE stadium but is 100% confident that funding will happen. It sounded like we have the funding in place but cant announce things yet until the plans for the stadium are fully in place with UWE as a few things need changing and have been in negotiating with UWE. Issue is no point saying who is funding it if the deal with UWE falls through. But very positive that wouldnt happen anyway.

 

Also I asked on twitter about student season ticket not being available. Hamer said students will be able to get an app where they get discounts on drinks and snacks in the ground and we will be the 1st club in the UK to have this. App not available yet obviously. My issue with this is that they should have announced this when they announced the prices for season tickets.

 

I am getting rather worried I detect an air of optimism and being a GASHEAD I find this rather strange

 

Radio Bristol later (which should be City's turn) will be having a special show on Rovers promotion. McChrystal, Taylor and Sinclair will all be studio guests as well.

 

Bump, just a reminder that having a gas is on today not Thursday. We got 3 players in the studio taking questions and Taylor will be 1 of them so no doubt his future will be discussed!

My question will be to Sinclair about how he feels about 2 promotions and he was missing for games that got us promoted. Not too negative or depressing is it?

 

Whats the point of tonight? The person in the studio is asking all the questions although he has received lots on twitter after asking for them but he aint asking any of them!

 

Yeah I think these shows are a waste of time to be honest I was hoping for more fans phoning in.
