Now look slightly further up the track and you will see the light placement for post 4, about 20-30 meters past the post itself. Now look at the "official placement" of where the flashing panel is meant to be at: please log in to view this image It's not that near to post 4 in person is it Forza? You and me can both see that. It's still in the MS3 sector though, post 5 is the line for MS4 which Seb overtook in. please log in to view this image Somebody ****ed up, and it wasn't Seb that's for sure! How could they **** up something so simple like this? How could they cause this amount of confusion by placing it so late in MS3 and so far away from post 4? to make it look like it's for MS4 when it's not. You can see why Ferrari have protested this but the digger you deep the more and more it looks like the FIA was at fault for ****ing up the placement. The light panel is for post 4, post 4 cannot tell the driver what to do in MS4 (officially), only MS3, but by the time you get to that light panel MS3 is almost over within 10-15 meters to post 5 and sector MS4. It's a track flaw of the highest level that that light system is so far away from it's designated marshal post. The only people who deserve the penalty are the pillocks who put this panel in the wrong place! Hold me to it, but that will be moved back next year, you watch!
I don't really get the quantum part, the instrumentation side is the part which I often think would be better flying out of the window
Anything with quantum in the title tends to be quite difficult to understand at times, at least to me
In all seriousness, you'd think in this highest tech sport and considering the potential implications, that the FIA would have some official record of which flags were being waved. I mean, wouldn't you?
