For my part I'm not criticising Qatar as a country. It is where it is. But it's obvious that corruption surrounds them getting the World Cup and I thought so at the time. Madness to set any tournament at that time of year there unless it's indoors. Australia should have got it but that's just my opinion.

That would just perpetuate the problem. The top of FIFA needs to be flushed out and the organisation made transparent and accountable. We're miles away from that, but this is a step in the right direction.
Agree, I think FIFA and UEFA are both corrupt bodies. Half the people in FIFA should all be doing time for accepting bribes. Doesn't the bribery act cover this, or is it just a European act?

I was gonna mention Brazil as well. The stories of favela death squads and moving the worst people and problems from where the visiting people be without helping their circumstances all adds up to one fact... If anyone thinks we should boycott the Qatar World Cup, they should also support the boycott of this one in Brazil (and don't get me started on Russia!).
