I'd like to say, Adams was fantastic today. Having runners off of him is just so good. Smallbone was soo good too, literally so intelligent with his runs and receiving the ball, start of the pre season j wasn't impressed but he's come on loads.
And also (especially at the start of Ralph’s reign) we used to score early regularly. Going 1 up against sides in the PL when you aren’t a very good one usually doesnt end in many wins
Doesn't hurt that we're much deeper than the vast majority of the Championship, either. Adam Armstrong is the only forward/midfield player to play 75%+ of our minutes to date; they can keep making run after run because no one is feeling the effects of overuse.
Did i watch a different game to everyone else. I thought Adams was poor bar his commitment. The amount of miss place passes he had today was horrendous.
One loss for Leicester and we could close the gap to 5 points. All it takes is a red card (like against Cov two weeks ago).
Agree, he was one of the few positives and would still be a huge asset now. We needed someone like Downes last season though. Losing Oriol killed us. JWP just isn’t physical enough to be a DM
Just went on the Sheff Wed forum, and they are making the same complaints about Rohl. Basically that they look class in the first half, but crap and tired in the second. They were 0-0 at half time today; ended up losing 4-0.
Great view of our amazing away support, it must be so much fun going on the road with the Saints these days. Fair play to the Rotherham lad, he told it like it was...
Just watched the highlights and I found the move for the second goal deeply arousing - pinged pass over the top, back heel, smooth and calm finish. Oh yes, I believe I could show that move a good time.
Me too. Just watched it again and it is absolute football art. Also the Smallbone save in the first half - the movement and flow was beautiful
