Such a shame, 3-0, In pieces today, as long as we bounce back it will be ok, but highlights tonight will not be fun.

Gills Player are saying that because we took J Payne off, we left a huge hole in mid-field.

Montrose booked (possibly 3rd of the season, if so on par with Lawrence).

Yeah I cannot moan, we have been good in other games, you always have an off day, it is not bad to lose against a side who are better on the day, We can bounce back, no worries in the team,

I have updated the first page of the thread with the table, we stand in 4th tied with Crawley Town in third but they have the better of goal difference, I have also added my match summary, you can leave yours below,
I have to say at least Crawley lost as we needed them to slip up aswell.

Well that was a waste of an afternoon. We could have been two up at halftime but end up losing 3-0. Went to pieces after the first goal, if we learnt anything today it is that Jack Payne makes us tick and we are a poorer side without him

While agreed that the result and second half performance were disappointing it's not the end of the world. 10 points by the end of August, when did that last happen?

It is hard not to be disappointed after watching us fall apart, but one game doesn't make or break the season.

"The trouble is,setting up as 4-5-1 wont lead to scoring more than 1 or 2 goals , unless like last week they are penalties, and away from home we're be looking to contain and maybe pinch one. A draw is the best we can hope for, but I've got a feeling that Rotherham will score at least two, we'll have to bring on Oli or Rooney and hope to get those goals back without conceding more. In my opinion , playing with only one striker is foolhardy at best, and it won't be until we get stuffed that Hess and Scally will move to bring someone in. "

This is what I posted on this thread the other day. It gives me no pleasure to be proved right, but if I can see what was going to happen playing 4-5-1 why can't Hess?
