In fairness it was an outstanding goal. It wasn’t a great half. Keeper looked very sold until 2 mins from time when he lost the plot and keep with his back to the play.
Great fight back kept it going and rotherham started to back off. One point from first half is we fought to get the ball back.
Good win in a tough fixture and much needed 3 points. Super finish for the winner. Top of the league.
Never touched it, hit the post, was out of position. Looked good but had a bit of a mare on crosses. Look forward to LLs assessment.
I know what you mean Ristac, just been doing the same, phew a few hair raising comments, and then the celebrations ,i need a drink after that, but a great three points,as we certainly needed that, now if only we can do Norwich next week,it really will be looking good.
Just in from work, could only follow on twitter but a spectacular result again and gap opening up. Just got the goals on sky. A brilliant saVe in second half from kiko
He's from overseas, not from our academy and his name ends with a vowel so LL will love him. Not as much as if Cellino had signed him but............
Pleased to report the international streaming service worked perfectly. No buffering, a good picture with LUTV commentary, replays both during the game and at HT/FT, analysis in the studio and from the ground all for the princely sum of your five English Pounds. Easy to see in the first half why we struggled...Clarke and Harrison not contributing, hence leaving Roofe isolated. Ayling subdued once again and the whole team looking disjointed with a total lack of fluency. Second half with Tyler Roberts dropping between the lines to link up the play we looked and were far more threatening. Much to ponder as we could easily have lost/drawn the game with few complaints if that had been the case. It's looking like we'll have Dallas and Douglas fit for next week and with Pontus to return then the defenders we have will be the ones to see us through to the end of the season. It's the midfield and attack where our problems keep occurring and reinforcements would be most welcome but I feel are unlikely to arrive. Allioski should revert to an attacking position and Harrison/Clarke will be back to job sharing on the other flank. We're then left hoping that Bamford and/or Brown can bolster the attack. One thing is for sure and that's the effort and commitment from the whole squad. It's going to be a tough ask for this group of players to somehow keep going long enough to secure automatic promotion. We as fans often feel shortchanged by some players for either a lack of effort or pride in the shirt, that's something you absolutely cannot level at this group of lads. Wherever we ultimately finish we should be proud and applaud all the hard work which has been going on ever since pre season.
