It's a way of changing your computers ip address to one provided by your VPN provider...they usually have a plethora of host cities in multiple countries and you can change between them to suit your needs/requirements. In general terms it's considered legal for usual usage...however if you're are indulging in illegal activity which will be against your VPN providers T&C's then it's not legal. Some counties China and North Korea for example have outlawed them and are waging a constant battle to try and stop their citizens using the web outside of the government controlled ways. It is detectable but this very much depends on your provider being one step ahead of the game and keeping their host servers private. The best ones use literally thousands of ip addresses worldwide to try and avoid detection. The positives depend on whether your comfortable with all your online activity being tracked and recorded by who know who and for who knows what. It basically provides online anonymity and an added level of security as your data is encrypted. It's a lot more than just being able to access blocked websites or change your location. One of the main disadvantages can be it slows down your internet speed whilst the encryption takes place so it's important you have good VPN provider. All in all I would say do your research, avoid free VPN providers and definitely favour ones with a long held good reputation.
Personally never been a fan of meat and 2 veg...but some of the boys would probably be game after a skinful. Will we have the pleasure of showing you Leeds' finest TG bars before the end of the season milky ?
So with A VPN you could pretend to be in one country one day and then another country the next I suppose?
Is it just me or is Allioski fast becoming one of the players of the season ? He's played every league game and the FA Cup tie as well, making him the player with the most appearances so he obviously has Bielsa's approval. Question is does he now have the all important not 606 approval after coming in for quite a bit of stick earlier in the campaign.
Better than that you can be in different countries at the same time...though why anyone would want to do that is beyond me. Oh wait wouldn't you need multiple accounts to do that ?
I agree that would be silly, and very confusing, but I can see how it would enable you to stream different TV shows.
I am honestly amazed at the new technologies available today, they will be inventing ovens that don't need a fire next
