Quite possibly your right, we have all said and I think Beale did say it just needs tweaks not major surgery. I do think confidence is low within the group, but again that may be due to the mental and physical fatigue of a crazy schedule
Beale didn’t say it was a good point, though. He said at the end of the season we might look back on it as a good point.
Thats the very formation we should be playing it would fit our squad and this league better than any other I have been saying it all season.
Bob, I've never known a poster so confusing tbh. On one hand you post that you get on with KLD and KS very well ... ... then say the most insulting things behind their backs. You're saying KLD has betrayed the fans for greed and Speakman sacks a manager on the word of a grass. And you regularly insult KLD regarding pocket money from his mam. I just don't get it Bob, did you ask KLD why he betrayed the supporters and took it up the arse from Newcastle? Just wondering .....
Just see them as a very poor side who will go down, one we should be winning. Not having our keeper MOTM
Just a radical thought as I'm bored. Could this line up work ...........................Patto ...............Seelt.....Ballard...09 Hume/Pembele.............Neil................Clarke ........................Adil/Pritch ....Mayander......Hemir......Rusyn
Not sure they will go upfront with 3 but I agree with you. We concede too many soft goals at the back so lets just go all out attack.
Hemir would struggle to get into Gateshead’s team, atm. Genuinely. I like the idea of the formation but Clarke is massively important to us. Leave him where he’s doing all the damage. I’d put Rusyn in the centre even though I think he’ll end up on the left when/if Clarke goes. Push Clarke further up the pitch. Pembele RWB, Cirkin/Hume/Alese LWB.
It's 2024 in a few days time. surely a super coach has access to all the games this season. He maybe could have watched a few of them before the first game. I fear he's a bluffer who's not a very good manager and we are going backwards.
It's all relative mate. Before the game people were saying 'these are no mugs' and that it would be a much tougher game than some thought ... ... after the game they were saying 'we should be beating teams like this'. Sheff Wed have lost two more games than any other team yet went to a promotion chasing side and won the game. That doesn't excuse our performance, we looked jaded and too many players were second best to the ball. TBH I'd rather beat Hull and draw with Rotherham than the other way round.
I can’t be arsed with the Old Firm so I’ve no idea but I’ve read from others that he played with no width at Rangers, is that not the case?
Formation just the job , just but a bit too too much emphasis on all out attack for me atm, So I would be swapping Hume and O/9's around, with O/9 in the middle of a fluid midfield five , with licence to use the flanks as and when to support two narrower quick front runners playing on the shoulder up front as we did against Leeds, that was a perfect display the only one of the season for me as it made the most of our squads strengths, hopes have been dashed slightly since that game to say the least
The front 3 is how they line up for u21's it's different and would allow Hemir to hold it up and some long balls over the top. Just thoughts on something different
And they were right on both accounts imo. as you are in your last comment, most would have gladly accepted 4 points from the last 6 but it was in the end very disappointing that it was not all six, OaU.
Its a chuck up mate, between optimism and pessimism is football, there's no happy medium especially watching SAFC, and as we both have said Hemir is looking very good in recent games, He has a football brain and is probably going to develop into some player and I hope its here for us, only time will tell, but a side with Dan, Rigg, Jobe and Hemir in it by the end of the season would be very tasty one indeed. OaU
We are just so close to having a great squad and team, just some tweaks and we will be flying again I'm sure
