Remote returns to the big time.
Look out for my final league thread for this season.......playoffs and Capaldi Cup.
They will be based upon the Championship playoffs to give everyone some knowledge of what is going on.
If those involved would rather drop out, say as soon as possible and I can take the next in line.

Yet another appalling performance. 4th time this year. The previous 3 times, Spare has saved us embarrassment. This time it is Llf!!!! well done him!!!
Now ten! This 1 point is important for Llf...or could be in future!!! Brizzle raised the point of parachute payments., this year, remote would have been champion and Llf was in danger of missing out on the playoffs since william and turk might have passed him.

On the subject of parachute payments, well I've no axe to grind (as long as it isn't applied retrospectively ) To be fair, it's probably a good idea and in the interest of those who are loyal to the league. Apply it at the start of a season and it'll soon be forgotten about. How would it be calculated though?

I have given this a lot of thought recently........and even thought maybe give those demoted 2 extra bonus points if they achieve a bonus point status. In this case, this year, remote would have been champion and Llf was in danger of missing out on the playoffs since william and turk might have passed him.
Anyway, a moot point but I'd be interested in the thoughts of some sort of parachute bonus.

TBF, I was only speaking in jest - I'm all for level playing fields and fairness so giving us 'has beens' extra points just because we were formerly part of the elite wouldn't sit well with me. I'm totally capable of getting my predictions wring without a helping hand!!

I reckon stick with your current points system FFB, no need to complicate things further - though if I'm 1 point off automatic promotion back to the big time next season I may ask for a rethink

Thanks again for all your efforts over the year - I'd love to see a heat map of where all the updates have come from around the world when you've been frantically trying to update us all during your travels!!

Is "catch of the day" presented by Gary LINEker? And does it follow the weather presented by Michael...well you know?

As for a parachute scheme, I don't think I'd be comfortable with a head start as a reward for my inability (cueM). Keep it as it is gets my vote please FfB.
