Perhaps I could post every fixture of every championship team and let you work it out for yourself? Or did you have some other specific evidence in mind? Perhaps you could detail what would satisfy you? For instance, do you actually know what position we're in atm, or do I have to prove that to you? Or if you're so confident I'm wrong, you could prove me wrong! But then, if I was wrong, you'd be shouting it from the rooftops by now, wouldn't you? I think you're just trying to be a little mischevious here.
I havn't checked it was a straight question. I can check our current league position. 16th when I last looked before the weekend but I am genuinely curious where we were when Rosler got bulleted. You said we were lower which indicates you know. So where were we when Rosler left?
We're currently 17th, actually, on goal difference from Reading. We also have a game in hand. When Rosler left, we were 18th. Is this enough evidence for you? I hoped that 10 sources might be enough for you, but I guess I'm ever the optimist. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34570202 http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/19/leeds-united-sack-manager-uwe-rosler-massimo-cellino http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-sacked-Leeds-just-11-Championship-games.html http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/613076/Massimo-Cellino-Leeds-Uwe-Rosler-Steve-Evans http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leeds-united/11940054/Leeds-sack-Uwe-Rosler.html http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....ews/leeds-united-boss-rosler-sacked-1-7522707 http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...sler-steve-evans-takes-training-a6699556.html http://www.itv.com/news/2015-10-19/leeds-united-sack-manager-rosler-after-brighton-loss/ http://metro.co.uk/2015/10/19/leeds...harry-redknapp-as-new-manager-report-5448187/ http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/470861/Leeds-sack-manager-Uwe-Rosler

Never said otherwise. But to cut through all the chatter, we finished 17th last year, game in hand only matter if we get something from them. We are currently 17th and only one place better than when Rosler left. Are you two seriously trying to suggest we have made any progress? Hopefully you can see why some might see it as stagnation of our club.
Depends on the game in hand result a win could take us to 12th,1 point would take us higher,so 2 out of 3 possible results would make us better while a loss would make us the same,so a 66.66% chance we are better.
As vice president of the pedantic society, can I just point out we've only played 31 league games, and yet your calculations show 32 As someone who just loves stats I'll confirm the following : Evans has won 12% more games than Rosler Evans has lost 4% more games than Rosler Evans has won 0.3 points per game more than Rosler Evans' team has 1.4 shots less at goal than Rosler Evans' team has 0.16 shots on target less than Rosler So yes there has been some slight improvement, albeit at maybe a reduction in entertainment value (this is just going by shots at goal, I'm not saying Rosler was more entertaining) However if we compare this season in total, to McDermotts full season in charge We had 2% more wins under McDermott We scored 0.3 more goals per game under McDermott We conceded 0.13 less goals under McDermott We gained 0.06 more points under McDermott We had 1.06 more shots at goal under McDermott We had 0.77 more shots on target under McDermott We finished 15th in the league that year under McDermott Whilst I can accept the arguments that Evans has yet to mould his own team, our season so far is worse than the one when McDermott is in charge. Comparing McDermotts full season to just Evans time in charge, Evans is able to show a positive of 0.06 pts per game more, all the other stats (and yes possibly less important) over McDermott are worse. whilst I appreciate that we all look for some improvement, however small, this is nothing to do with who takes the coaching etc, but it saddens me that statistically in 2 years we have made very little forward progress on the footballing front, and the blame for that can only be put down to one person.
McDermott is doing a sterling job back at Reading based on the bit I saw on MOTD the other day. The mad Cnut was a complete twat him from the week before he took us over.
Couldn't give a fiddlers personally, but if we're being pedantic, something smells here: And Evans' 10 league games in between both come in at: P10 W3 D3 L3
That's why I'm only vice president of the Pedantic Society Davy, as I still miss obvious things like that
Only in your mind. Can't watch any more of the game.... Scum cnuts were starting to panic and fluked a goal.... Ggggrrrrrr
Thanks, Aski. For some reason, I reported on 9 games, but got it into my head that it was 10!! I actually did Evans a disservice in the ppg calcs. All updated now.
