I thought he had a good game yesterday with some draw-backs. An industrious, skillful but ultimately ineffectual performance that leaves a painful reminder on our need for a more decisive, creative midfielder.

It's a reminder of why I'm not taken in by the Modric hype. Rosicky, like Modric, has a guile and technique about him that oozes class but they somehow usually manage to find themselves on the periphery of the decisive match action. Playing alongside players like Cesc, Nasri or VDV who make things happen in more advanced positions, their qualities are well complimented as they only have to focus more on recycling possesion. It's a different story though if they have to be the creative hub of their sides.

It's disappointing how Walcott's pace is unexploited as none of our midfielders can feed him in more isolated dangerous positions. We've got to release the ball quicker like United manage to do when exploiting gaps in the opposition defence. A defence is at it's weakest in transition from attack to defence but dwelling on the ball with our cute little triangles when we gain possession allows our opponents recover their shape and here lies Rosicky's weakness: the inability to find the quick option that creates an immediate chance.

I'm of the opinion we have more problems in our attack than our defence and Rosicky encapsulates this problem.

And could he stop consistently trying long range passes with the outside of his boot which regularly fails. It's one of the things Mourinho (and me) disliked about Quaresma.

He may be good but he's no Henry, i mean henry could play in defence better than our current team could play, henry is just amazing.

Was that a witty attempt at sarcasm? I'll choose to take it on face value.
You're right: Henry was amazing and no player of ours, past or present, could lace his boots.

That has nothing though, to do with my article so why did you post that again?

I thought Rosicky worked really hard last night and deserves a lot of credit <ok>
