If the boys under 15 team were coached by a woman and the women were coached by a man, would the women's team then win?
Fair play to Rosie, goes into a job where as long as he advances the players and keeps the side in the league everyone will be happy. Interesting too see how it goes.
She's coaching at a poor level though and the speed of thought and the overall pace of the game in the men's is completely different. Never mind at the top level of men's football. US women's national team has had significant investment over a prolonged period. You're bang on about them being two separate entities, and they should remain part but they're getting pushed together and TV companies are using poor female pundits to create controversy (that's another argument). It would be great to see a woman coaching in the men's game, but any notion that SW should take the England job is ridiculous.
But why is Carsley seen as credible but not Serena? For me it should be neither, I'm just pointing out the double standard.
Only a complete moron would give that a like. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It is, and I used it before posting, blind git. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Doing a great job with the under 21’s similar to Southgate before getting the big job who was our 2nd most successful coach. Carsley is also more attack minded something we all demanded from Southgate.
They do the same coaching course though. FWIW I don’t think she’s up to it either but Emma Hayes for example is a very good coach. Could see her being touted at one point.
Problem is with international football is they get a small window to instill things on their players. Someone who’s already well liked through youth coaching like Carsley is always a good shout
