what I've stated is the truth, I posted many months ago that the lad was to be released at the end of the season and he was. He burnt his bridges at the club. Don't you prefer the truth.

 

Well,since Donnelly had been around for quite a long time,and hadn't made it,even I was expecting him to be moved on.
The truth,hmm, who says you speak the truth about him?
Anticipating his departure and posting scurrilous statements is hardly expressing 'the truth'. It's just being mean and vindictive.
Hope you got lots of satisfaction out of it.

 

What reason would Sbulby have to lie about this? What would he have to gain? Absolutely nothing. To state the facts is not being vindictive or mean, and his post is far from scurrilous, but your post on the other hand just demonstrates to all on here what you are............

 

I'm sorry you feel that way but I only pass on or express my opinions as I see them. The vast majority of my posts on here are extremely positive and I have supported most players when some have not. As a Vice President and life long supporter of the club I do hear snippets of information from time to time and where I deem it necessary I will express them on this board. Whether you or anyone believes me or not is of no relevance to me, I merely pass it on for others to read. What I was told about Donnelly and more recently Michu then the club will be far better off without them.

I think the term is grist to the mill and please refrain from making personal comments about other posters .

Re my 'making personal comments'. Did you read post 25? Have you requested it's author to equally refrain. Perhaps I missed it,in the dark

The making of personal comments should be abhorred,and I don't condone it. I don't however have a problem making them towards those who have made a living dishing them out to others.

You be sure to have a nice day,and good luck trying to police this place. Others have tried,and failed. If you want to be taken seriously as a mod,you need to be consistent,and without bias.

Good morning Vetch! I trust you're enjoying the summer.

From reading your posts, you APPEAR to take the view (with regard to Swansea City) that players and managers are all perfect and can do no wrong. Laudrup, Michu and Donnelly being cases in point. Anyone who suggests otherwise is given the 'tittle-tattle' or 'feeding the troll' treatment.

I'm going to make an ASSUMPTION at this point - and that is that you (like me) are not best buddies with Huw Jenkins, Garry Monk or any other high-ranking official at the club. (You can put me right if this assumption is incorrect.) Therefore, you and I are not party to any direct juicy inside information regarding players. This COULD be a reason why you are so dismissive of people who make claims that they are 'in the know'.

However, I put it to you for your consideration, that it is a naive approach to assume that NO-ONE on this forum has contacts on the inside. Sbulby seems like a reliable poster and I have no reason to disbelieve him.

Jesus christ Vetch do you have to have a wobble every time someone posts something you disagree with. As for policing this place, the only problems that arise lately involve you.
Sbulby has no reason to lie and nothing to gain and I for one welcome his posts.

Now,re your post,firstly it is regrettable that you feel that I think players and managers are all perfect. Nobody is,so how could I possibly think they are We are all flawed,but some deal with their flaws in more productive,less harmful,way than others.

Since this was the first time I have used the phrases "tittle tattle",and "feeding the trolls", that would hardly constitute "treatment",a word that implies regular usage.

I've never met H.J.,or G.M.,nor do I wish to.
I would,however,have been delighted to meet,spend some time with M.L.,and we wouldn't have talked football.
But that's another story.

I suspect,although cannot prove,that most people who claim to be "in the know",are merely gossips.I've never met a decent one,and give them short thrift.
If shrubby has proof positive re his comments,then I am prepared to review my stance.

If people were to suddenly start tittle tatting about you,I would come to your aid.
But that's me, nobody's perfect,eh?
What I am is consistent. In other words I won't be changing my mind, opinions,points of view,etc.,on a day to day,week to week basis,as some who frequent here.

People who gossip can be very dangerous,and if they do so here,they probably do it in their other life. Nasty people,in my book.
You would be "naiive" to think otherwise.

Well,that's not entirely true,but to delve into it would rake up a real can of worms.
You cannot know sbulby's motivations,or whether he gains.
Nothing preventing you from welcoming his posts,he's free to do so.

Wibble, the usurper of freedom of speech but defender and advocate of wibble-speak, shows his true colours yet again. Not very intelligent that wibble

It would appear that he wants our very own, free and open public forum be 'policed' for ideas, threads, posts or other thought crimes differing from his diarrhoeic view. He wants us monitored and our views suppressed. Rhetoric of a right of right wing ideology, what a chuckle brother he is

Talking of chuckle brothers, any one know where wibbles other half has gone. Nothing from bobby the slobby for ages now. Maybe he's gone back to using another profile, hmmmmm and that's why we're currently enjoying wibbles input. After all the chuckle brothers like to take turns, "to me, to you, to me, to you"

 

Anyhoo, back to Donnelly. I remember him coming with a lot of potential but all I actually remember of him is his being at the wrong end of a petulant and unprovoked verbal attack on the field of play by a unprofessional, petulant, childish Michu.

I think Michu burnt Donnellys' confidence to a crisp. After-all he was a young kid when he was subjected to Michus bully like attack and to add to this it was witnessed by millions of people on live TV.

Never saw him again after that as I think he never re-gained his confidence. This could well be one of the reasons why Michu is not welcome back here.

 

Donnelly got himself injured towards the end of his time at tranmere and before that he was their star player. the fans loved him and he tried his best to get match fit but just could not make it. He finally made the bench but was never 100%...Now i have no reason to lie either its all in the records...
