I agree tbh. Him and Giggs have spoken a lot of sense over the England situation.

Shearer doesn't speak sense, he just speaks sensationalist rubbish, as do most pundits. If he were a manager fair enough, but hasn't had the balls for a long time, so why do we care of his opinions.

Why do we care for his opinions?

Because he he won a golden boot at a major tournament and was probably the best centre forward in the world in his day.

    Just my opinion.

    What's your opinion?

If shearer dipped his toe as into management Beyond his few weeks at Newcastle I'd be happy to give him more respect, but he has chosen to bitch about English players without any real insight, lazy. Do the job then have your say.

    That makes performs sense.

The only pundits who should comment on England being ****e are
the clueless tits who made England ****e.

    Roy, Fabs, Sven etc...

No. People who have been brave enough to manage for a decent amount of time. That takes it much further than the names you mention. Any experienenced club manager worth their weight in salt. Can you name many that have been critical?

Peaste? Is this a word I've not seen before? There aren't many. Com is obviously a typo, or missing finger. Please advise.

I actually agree with you. People like Andy Gray make me sick - he was offered the chance to manage a club he supposedly loves (Everton) but was so comfortable in his ivory ****ing tower telling managers where they were going wrong rather than showing how to do it himself that he rejected it. The spineless manky Scots git.

And don't get me started on Lawrenson, one of the worst managers in history, a total failure everywhere he went, but he still slams other managers who achieved light years away from what he did. Does he think we forget?

At least Neville had the balls to try it.

    Brave enough?

So only actual heroes should espouse an opinion?

Is this just on telly, or would you apply these strict standards on here also?

All threads go "off peaste". If there was ever any issues with that, there'd be a ku de ta.

I don't begrudge anyone an opinion. My problem with Shearer's criticism of the England team / management, is that he was not constructive, just offering soundbites. If he had been in management more, then I would have been more willing to accept his comments. I actually think that I have more of an issue with the BBC putting a microphone on him and paying him astronomical amounts of licence payers money for a rant that anyone on here could have said just as well.

A good % or appears to be at least of the Wales players are English anyway. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I would rather have Chester and Williams as England centre backs than Cahill and Smalling.

Come on Wales. Get to the Final. It is only Portugal that stands in your way now.
