I don't know if anyone agrees with me, but I am getting sick and tired about the criticism and booing/abuse that Rooney has been getting recently - it is reprehensible, mainly from armchair footballers or actual footballers not fit to lace his boots.

He has been at the top for some 14 years in the most physical league in the world. He will be presumably this season Man U's leading goalscorer as well as Englands.

    Fantastic goals and workrate.

Give the guy a break and in my opinion, he should be given due respect.

Rant over...sorry guys...only in England eh?

Agree Nick, there are not many teams in the land that he couldn't just walk into, people love a scapegoat when things are not completely going their way but he has achieved more than most can even dream of.

It's a strange turn of events, but it probably more reflects the lack of faith supporters have in the England programme.

I'll never understand why people boo their own players. Very thick people in my opinion
