    Rooney is a fantastic player.

Giggs showed the quality Man U midfielders are supposed to be rather than the distinctly average Fellani, Valencia and worse than average Cleverly. I honestly don't think Cleverly would get in our side!! I leave out Januzai as the boy has class even if yesterday wasn't he best performance.

Apparently they can still take action if they want to although if it does happen then there should be 3 players they need to be dealing with.

According to the stats we only had 2 corners to their 8 which would back up your theory as everything else was pretty equal.

    Rooney's deliveries were frighteningly good.

Whittingham's cross was exceptional for our goal but that has been a rarity this season. His corners are excellent but his free kicks not so good until yesterday.

Did he put over the one that Mutch missed with a header just before the Rooney incident?

Cardiff City: Medel will face no further action after Fellaini incident

Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel will face no further action despite appearing to slap Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini in the face during the 2-2 draw on Sunday.
None of the match officials saw the incident, so it went before the FA's new 'not seen' panel, who can punish players retrospectively.
But the panel felt no further action was necessary.
Wayne Rooney was shown a yellow card for his foul on Jordon Mutch.
But because the incident was dealt with by officials the England and Manchester and United striker cannot be punished retrospectively.
Retrospective action can only be taken for offences considered by the panel to have warranted a red card.

No further action against Medal. Do the last 2 lines of the above contradict each other?

    Yes to Nin and Exile.

If only Caulker or Turner had been on the end of the first free kick the onion bag would have been bulging.
