Probably not. Ronaldo's a fantastic player, but how well would RVP and Ronaldo work without someone like Rooney in the engine room? I think it would be a risk to break up the RVP and Rooney partnership - it would probably give us a better side, but there's a chance we'd unbalance everything, a la Keane at Liverpool. Like STB says - sell Nani instead! Heck, if we're getting Ronaldo back you can throw in Young and possibly Welbeck / Hernandez too.
