Of course! True though eh Saint, I know what the suggestion is and I agree, Rooney needs to get that anger back in his game. If he did though it would be used as a stick to beat him with. Predominately right here on this board. That's half the problem, the stuff we use as arguments against each other can always be applied to one of our own too.
Actually the suggestion was first & foremost should Rooney go back to playing football with joy & expression that gave him that little bit something extra. Of course that might mean a rise in the negative stuff as well but that wasn't the point of the article or until it got steered that way many of the posts. And my question was (viewing the player individually) which do you, as united fans prefer actually watching (the point of football) the exuberant Rooney or the "efficient one" as I said one might contribute to the stats better so you can crow over those later but as the sport is primarily a spectators sport.....? And actually As already stated I'd rather he stayed this rather grey version of himself; he plays for you after all. Not a trick question at all really ...
