I reckon he'll get a one match, there's no fixed penalty in the competition and they tend to be lenient with key players to keep them in the competition. It wasn't that bad, but it was certainly bloody stupid. He wasn't doing much and didn't look right, he should have been switched for Wellbeck at least ten minutes before it happened.
Red card for that these days, kicking out, been like that ever since Beckham got his infamous red all those years ago, can only be a two-match ban I checked, but definitely out for one
Was amused by the player who having elbowed Welbeck in front of the lino rolled round holding his head and got off scott free. It was his look of surprise when Welbeck was not up for a bit of kiss and make up before ref let them back on pitch.
Anyway, won't his ban count for the friendlies we'll end up playing making him available for the start of the euros? Or will this red count in the euro's only?

I saw this too matey and the same player was already on a yellow when he elbowed Welbeck in his face and should have seen red. Was weird that the commentators did'nt mention this elbow at all.
Not so weird, most of the time commentators wouldn't notice if the Dagenham Girl Pipers marched naked across the pitch with Mount Etna erpting out their arses.
