I guess it comes down to people opinions again. Given the choice when having a go myself, I'd go with a ball off the ground rather than on the volley and thats coming from someone that loves a volley when considering personal experience it depends on your own style and what you find easier/harder. I love a volley but I'll always get more accuracy from the floor. Got o sixty yards plus and it would have to be a volley everytime as I would reach the goal otherwise I don't agree with others about Ibramovic's goal either though. Great as it was, he knew the keeper was off the line so made sure he got a good contact to send it towards goal. He had no idea where about in the goal it would go, nor did he have any idea on the height either. The concentration was all in the technique and contact with the ball.
