Is it not guaranteed you'll score first against them this season? They've had more comebacks than Evander Holyfield
they took 6 points of us, and we stopped Man c getting 5 points last season, if man city had beat us up here the last game would not have had any significance anyhow.
Completely agree with this! It's just the way things worked out in the end - they didn't, we did take the mick... I'm sure Rooney Fergie et al realise that any other club would likely have done the same, but in the end it was us. To be fair, I'm sure they do appreciate the 4 points we took off City - or at least definitely did at the time. I'd see it all as a bit of fun really, but if this is the way Rooney and Fergie want to take it - to use it as a motivational tool - then fair play to them. If Fergie frames the situation so that his players are up for it by an extra 10% then he's done his job. Their club spirit is top notch, they never give up and their drive to win is incredible and I wouldn't mind a bit of that ruthlessness here... Agreed that it would be the best scenario if we shipped 6 past them though!
