When was this like? Liverpool is a fantastic City in 2015, the City Centre is buzzing on a weekend and it's both a great night out and a great place for retail with the addition of Liverpool 1. I don't care who you aimed it at, what you came out with was out of date, bullshit, lazy stereotyping
I quite liked Liverpool when I visited the centre.. Found the natives to be all quite funny and friendly being as I did a pub crawl on my own for 4 hours I'm an afternoon. The outskirts were a bit dodge on the way in and was glad the car didn't breakdown..
I know a lot of mancs who prefer a night out in Liverpool rather than Manchester. They feel safer and have a better, cheaper time
A few years back. And all city's are ****e, and good. Depending on where you go. Extremes galore. I have to say, a lot of the stereo types are lived up to there. The first time I ever saw someone in the PJs mid afternoon was in Liverpool. You should learn to take a joke about where you live though.
Liverpool's not an awful place. It's worth the reaction though to say it is. Far worse places around. Leeds for example. Horrific **** hole full of gangstas and Brahs whatever the **** they are
It probably is for Liverpool fans. I imagine after a few Shandy's they get all mouthy and probably end up worse for ware. Like their fans in general Probably need a disclaimer for that one...
It's been a good while since I was there but I've always thought Leeds had a decent City centre. I even used to drive there to do some decent shopping before Manchester got bombed and became the incredible town centre it now is. They had a shop that sold Nicholas Deakins shoes, Manchester didn't! Full of yonners though, obviously. (Leeds that is) Back to Basics was good too.
Liverpool is a great city these days with some fantastic places to live, both in the centre and the suburbs, but like all major cities you need a few quid to be able to live in the desirable areas. I don't live there anymore btw, but go back and stay regularly. Love the place, it's infinitely better than it was 15/20 years ago.
I was luring the likes of Page in tbh Tobes. It had been. While. I should have just said Irish and he would have been here on a flash. Yeh, youre right. Same as anywhere now. Except Blackburn and Middlesbrough's of course.
Boro is an enigma, as the town itself is a complete **** pit, but it's got some of the most beustiful villages in the North within 15/20 mins of it.
Kind of like the Lancashire countryside I basically live in. Though some of the towns look nice on a post card the scenery is stunning from my windows. The local towns are horrible though. Dirty, run down....
