That's the job they signed up to! They court the press when it suits them and moan when it doesn't? These over-paid show prostitutes should realise they are paid for our pleasure and if they don't like it they can always go back to working at MacDonalds for £13.000 grand a year if they want!

Why don't people see what the FA have done here? They have made an example of him. Forget what's happened to previous players in the past. It's about what happens next, I hope that from now on the FA will give the same penalty to any players who directly swear into a TV camera.

Rooney is a fantastic player (most of the time) but he needs to curb some of this ugly anger he has developed. He was always aggressive and that's fine, that's who he is, but he seems far more angry these days. He's lost the spark he once had in his eye and he needs to get it back.

I also think this ban is unjust, but im thinking it could be a little blessing in disguise in terms of champions league success this year. I mean, he is one of, if not the most important and influential player in our team, and come tuesday hes gonna be really fresh, and raring to go at chelsea in front of the home crowd. He showed a really good attitude yesterday, and just wanted to let his football do the talking. I think he will play a big part in getting us into the semi against whats looking to be Schalke 04.

Also, if we beat Fulham without him at the weekend, which we are more than capable of doing, especially at OT, then thats a big step towards number 19. City are looking good at the moment though :S ..oh how another treble would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet ;D

Rooney was only banned because man citeh have paid for their man bernstein to get the job at the fa. Once again everyone will be out to stitch us up like referees etc who will be told by the fa to give us nothing and help every team we play. That is why we never get penalties etc, players booked for nothing etc.
BUT WE STILL THRASH THEM ALL. TREBLE WINNERS 2011.
