It annoys me when people compare Ronaldo to Messi. They've reached 1 Champions League semi final in the past 7 years and have only won one trophy in the last 3 years. They are nowhere near as good as the team at Barcelona. They have big names but they are not a great team.
Because compared to Argentina Portugal's team are like a league 1 side. They have a few good players (Nani, Carvalho) and that's it, the rest are pretty average. Messi is surrounded by World Class players when he plays for Argentina yet he flops.

Well yeah i supposed i can't back it up with evidence, but that video shouldn't decide who is faster between those two players. Sprint speed can only really be judged on a larger distance. Short distance races are decided by acceleration mostly.
E.G. Messi is faster off the mark than Ronaldo is, but over a long distance, Ronaldo would beat him.
