I agree Players contracts etc are vital , keeping hold of the Koeman's is vital as well . Any news on offering them extended contracts ?

I think they have two more seasons left , but it would be nice to know they were here for at least four more seasons IMHO .

I think Koeman will see out his current contract here then move on, taking his brother with him.

Or he'll be sacked when we come 12th next season with a busy Europa League schedule? ;)

What if we get 4th/3rd in his 3rd season here, surely he'll want to be here at least one more season to play with us in the CL?

Can't see them rushing to sign another contract...probably intend to see what is available. Unless Erwin would fancy staying on...he jokingly said he'd like Ron's contract.

Would be good but he is still smarting from his burnley experience. He fits Bournemouth and they fit him. Would be daft to move IMO

Burnley's a lot further away from Bournemouth than Southampton.

And a very different club. Though Sean Dyche's has done fantastically well, I don't think I am wrong in saying Howe built the majority of the squad that came up to the top flight.

I'd say we're a good fit for him, and him for us, but we will see.

As said above, I think Ronald is a fairly honourable chap and will see out at least two years of his deal, if not all three.

Do you really think he wouldn't move for a much bigger job?

He could come to us (or another Prem club) do a great job and may be even end up as England manager one day. I really rate him.

I just think we've moved on from taking chances with upcoming managers. We want someone with s proven track record in Europe and of developing youngsters from within. That said, I agree Howe has huge potential.

Gary Monk is another name to throw in there if we are looking at promising young British management

Well he's certainly developed youngsters. I think he is the next big thing.

Not quite sure about the moves on from upcoming managers. We did it in league one with a proven young manager at that level and MP was the only one while in the top flight.

Like players, we need to find the next good managers, before they are proven properly.
