I do not read Ron's comments, however, her indoors as I have stated in the past, seems to find amusement value in his comments, hence I then am aware of his latest offerings.
Actually I wished the person would come and write on here because it appears everyone despite their misgivings about him wants to respond or at the very least are attracted to his comments. KentOnline must love it. I also believe it even attracted the alleged attention of our Chairman. Demonstrating why Ron would continue.
It is also interesting to note that since my time on social media or message boards, I have seen at least three instances and can name those three instances that appear or are alleged to have attracted so called interest from someone claiming to be our Chairman (direct response) or Club (via media reporting), again proving negativity attracts attention and responses. People enjoy that interaction, maybe it can be done sometime in more positive events of writing on social media.
Message boards become most active without a doubt when there are poor games and negative comments or as you realised alwaysright with your thread pre season when rumours are rife. However, when we do well as we currently are and sitting top of the league, have a look around the boards it is a sad reflection that they are more or less quiet and a sad reflection of humour nature. Hence why the media exists and reports what it does, there is no money in happiness unless its a Royal wedding or a lost dog story.
Even if you attempt to post a comment in regards to any form of deemed negativity everyone wants to give you a beating. Example, team selection was different yesterday then against Cheltenham. We should be taking 3 points at Plymouth. Not completely my opinion but if you say it you are classed as a doom monger or whatever the term is. I disagree is is called forming an opinion that is open to challenge without the insults. I think it would be become a very sad world once we all belong to the happy clappy environment. Talking generally not just in regards to Gillingham Football Club. Yes Ron is a troll. He will also remain a troll for as long as people are entertained by him.
Of course the alternative is people could always ignore him and post long essays to why we are top of the league and so good! That is what I would love to see. I guess coming back to human nature though that will not happen.
