Be a quality signing who can only get better but:
a) He'll probably go to a Europa/Champs League team
b) He'll be VERY pricey
c) Its the METRO!!!

He does fit the bill really. If were going for a lone striker in front of Ben Arfa, then we need someone top class. It's a lot of money, but he's 17 years old, has a LOT of years in front of him, and he's already top class.

Perfect really, but there's no denying that it looks quite unlikely. We're better off unearthing hidden talent instead of trying to poach players which many of the most successful clubs in Europe are going for. That'll just get messy, costly and will probably amount to nothing anyway in the end.

PS: I really, really hope we don't get Crouch. It just goes against, well, everything really. No improvement on age, no improvement on skill and no improvement on goalscoring record. What's the point?
 
Very expensive though. They rejected a 20mil+ bid in January so ya know

And I don't wanna be wheeling and dealing with Spurs at the same time to get bloody Crouch or someone instead.
 
Quality forward, been hearing a lot about him this season. Can't help but think there'll be better clubs than us in for him offering to pay a lot more. Would love Pavlyuchenko if Spurs did get him though.
 
I will be honest and say I don't know too much about him other than he is being linked with big clubs all over Europe. Even with that knowledge, it looks extremely unlikely to happen.
 
I live in Belgium and follow the Belgian league closely and I don't think he's good enough. Went through a 10 game dry spell were it seemed like he didn't care. I hope he was just unhappy so that if he joins us he will be firing on all cylinders.

Ben Arfa linking up with possibly Gervinho and Lukaku though? Hell yes.
