At the moment... obviously mixed emotions about him. Without him I don't know where this club would be and I'll be forever grateful but I do get the sense that we are just his 'toy' and that he can do whatever he wants with us. It's true.. he can but does he think of us fans at all? RDM was a big fan favourite and we are all ashamed and shocked at his sacking. We want stability. Fergie has done wonders with United and he didn't win anything in his first season. RDM won an FA Cup and a Champions League in 4 months for crying out loud! It just makes no sense and the way that it has happened so suddenly infuriates me.

Us Chelsea fans spend loads of money on the club following the team home and away and we don't want to be messed about. I've been to every away game so far this season and intend to do nearly all of them. Going to Swansea, Wigan, Sunderland, £64 for an Arsenal away ticket. It all costs ridiculous amounts of money and I wonder if Roman really gives much thought into this? He has been incredible to us investing millions and looking to make Chelsea the best club in the world but with reactions like this... sacking a manager 5 months after winning the Champions League... we won't be respected and we will lose all dignity (if we actually have any at this present time). Think Roman... if not about yourself but what is best for the club and it's fans.

As much as I appreciate what Roman has done for us, he still has to guard against throwing a hissy fit when we lose a game or two. It doesn't require a genius to know that the absence of several key players, we're the reason behing our blip!
 
I am truly grateful that RA came on board and stayed.

As fans I think there is a tendency to be too sentimental about these things. Football is a business, BIG business and that's the end of it. If anyone cannot get their head around this then just support your local Sunday League team which is a real hearts and mind job.

At the end of the day RDM was paid a lot of money, he would have had clear objectives, he didn't achieve them. End of really.

Had you kept Mourinho who I think would of stayed even until now you may well of been the worlds number one club.

Your owners inability to think about things when it comes to managers has seen some top class managers walk through that door and get booted out the other side. At the first sign of a bad run your managers are gone. The players never get the chance to overcome poor form unless you have changes all round.

A man who will standby horrific players like Torres but sack a manager who won him what he wanted? Idiot is the polite way of describing him.

Not all managers settle right away, some start off brilliantly and then settle down. Others build over a period of time implementing their style and ideas. None of this is possible at Chelsea and there are few managers who will bring instant success and sustain it ( you sacked him, well done ).

Utter nonsense. Had Jose kept doing what he was doing at Chelsea it was inevitable the likes of Madrid would have come calling and Jose loves a challenge. Jose wont manage anyone for more than 3-4 seasons.

The rest i kind of agree with though.

Sad but true.

Treat Roman like any relationship. The good comes with the bad. If we want him to spend the millions and keep us competative, it's up to him who is in charge. We might not agree with all his decisions but so far they have worked out in the end and lets hope this is another case.

Who knows, Rafa may take us to a P.L and E.L double come May and we'd all be as happy as pigs in **** again!!

Everything good Roman has done for you he is undoing by his stupid trigger happy sacking of Managers. Surely you lot can see its damaging the clubs reputation?

Why would a Manager like Pep who sees a new job as a very long term protect, building from the bottom up, on and off the field, which means transition and inconsistent results for the first season or two, come to Chelsea under Roman when it appears from past behaviour he will be sacked ven if successful after a few defeats?

Pep and other top up and coming Managers will see Chelsea as a massive risk to their growing careers and repuatations and steer clear. Even Brendan Rodger's someone who you feel wouldn't be of good enough calibre for Chelsea said he wouldn't go Chelsea for these reasons so that proves beyond doubt that Managers are obviously indulging in this mindset.

For the sake of Chelseas long term future and success, the next Manager has to be given a minimum of 2 seasons, come what may, even if you come 5th, to really build, but more importantly to show to players and Managers alike that Chelsea is a patient, understand and fair club where they will be given time and patience to build the club in their image with full support on and off the field or, simply, top Managers, no matter how much money is thrown at them, will avoid the Chelsea Managers seat.

I know you lot aren't stupid enough or blibded by club bias and partisanship to realise that this is a massive issue that needs attention for the long term benefit of the club. Roman has got to stop and start supporting the Managers who HE hires.

A lot of people have the same opinion and it's fair enough.

Alternatively you could look at Arsenal in the last 8 years and compare that to what Chelsea have won. One has had their greatest ever manager at the helm the whole time, one has had about 10 managers. More than one way to skin a cat.
