Technically, "Japs" is the same as "Pakis" and the same as "Brits". Just an abbreviation. However, notice how the former is unacceptable and the former acceptable. That's down to a little thing called neo-colonialism. Look it up, and you'll learn a little bit about our supposed fair and equal world. Anyway, people banging on about Pearl Harbour, again, you might want to look up the real tragedy of WW2, far beyond anything you can comprehend, in a little city called Nanjing; the "Nanjing Massacre".

    ****, sorry, little bit deep.

Another good book on that, called 'The Rape of Nanking'. Very tough reading. The Japanese in China had at least as bad a record as the Germans in Russia.

The Russians were dreadful in Berlin. A friend was a civil servant in Berlin in the aftermath of the war and she said that the Russian soldiers ran amok raping, killing and maiming with no officers stopping them. Germany wouldn't have ended up divided if the Americans had done what the British wanted to do which was push on and take Berlin before the Russians turned up. Be grateful that none of us have known war.

Anyone with the slightest bit of marketing nous, and I am very confident the guys at Saints do, will have made sure following this signing that Saints shirts will be readily available. They've created a demand for them so they'll supply. It's a fantastic move on the marketing front, as well as him (according to those that know) being a very good player.

If they can't order direct, I bet NC has found a trading partner.

Without a shadow of a doubt Fran. If not then the whole marketing team should be fired on the spot.

Umbro went nuts on the merchandising front in Beijing last summer when Man City (Umbro) played Chelsea in a pre-season friendly. Think thye were basically launching their Chinese outlets that day, cos it wasn't just Citeh's kit but everything. Obviously Tokyo next year, ha ha! Watch this space!
