Looking at the field for the Prix Ganay, it seems likely that Belle De Crecy may be in as a pacemaker despite being a useful mare in her own right.

Triple Threat is an interesting contender for Andre Fabre and at least can boast race fitness after his debut third in the Prix d’Harcourt, unlike last season’s Arc heroine. I have been of the opinion for some time that Cirrus Des Aigles – now an eight year old – is well past his best and his failure to collect in two starts this term suggests that he is in decline but may be the best marker available by which to assess Treve’s performance. On the bare ratings this should be a two horse race.
