I counted 12 on the BBC website In theory any 0 points for verstappen closed the gap massively but you.sre looking at Gap between 1 and 2 is 7 points so yeah if it was just 2 fldriverd in this then you want perfection Gap between 1 and 3 is 10 Gap between 1 and 4 is 13 As long as norris is consistently in the top 2 cars and he is beating vertdapoen the gap will close. The question here is who takes points off norris and who takes points off verstappen Can piastri? Yes Can mercs? Maybe Can Ferrari? Probably not very often at all. Norris needs to push for wins and clean racing to at least be top 2. It's going to then be down to will he actually be fighting verstappen or is he fighting his own team.mate or fighting a merc race by race.
I would love Norris to get it but I don't think he is ready. He is making errors because of his eagerness. He needs to be flawless and he is not. I also fear Lewis may regret his decision to go to Ferrari, I hope Ferrari can give him a car that can sensibly compete. Charles has been making some errors in the past, like Norris, I don't think he is ready. Lewis, if he has a good car, can deliver, as can Max.
He's basically got to outperform Max by 8pts per race. He's going to need to be consistently ahead of Max and hope for one or more RBR failures. It's a massive ask and the problem being that the points are being spread around too much ATM.
Whether Norris can or can’t , does or doesn’t beat Max ( I hope he does ) . I’m just so pleased this discussion is even taking place with 10 races to go . Don’t get me started on the amount of races this season
