It was ok, only about 5 or 6 cars were undamaged, he did a dump n run to win it, after trying about 5 times previously, lol.
I`ve just read the link to Autosport that you posted and then carried on to read the comments. Well, I couldn`t believe some of the rubbish that people have written. Saying he should retire, that he`s bitchy and to stop posting on his platform as well as lot more things. Are these so called F1 fans or not? It seems like a football feedback thread the way the hatered is spewed out.
That’s social media for you. The comments on Facebook and Twitter are routinely awful and depressing although it is especially disappointing to see it on Autosport where you’d expect proper fans. Everything is so tribal now.
Well, that turned out to be a lot more straightforward for Max than it threatened to be - good for him to have a dominant win as it does seem to be waking people to the levels that he and RedBull have been operating at. I’m not sure if they’ve found something, or everything just aligned this weekend, but hopefully it’s the latter and we do get some more good races this year. Pretty much full speed ahead on the 2023 car, back at the factory I would think. Hamilton seemed really down this weekend, the new rules didn’t peg Ferrari or RedBull back, which might be one element of it, but if so the rest of the team seemed to wear it a lot better outwardly. One might consider he realises now how far back Merc are and that he’s unlikely to get back to the dominant position he’s been enjoying during what he envisages to be the rest of his career, at which point he might consider his options and kick off silly season 2.0?
When you say now, when do you think it started? I can recall tribalism back to ‘94 and the Schumacher/Hill England/Germany nonsense? Social media amplifies it, which is one reason I generally avoid it, but is it really a new phenomenon?
H He is very odd at times isn’t he. Like, all power to him, you wear what you want, but he does seem to lap up the attention. Good job he usually does his talking on the track
The colour choice was similar to his private plane, it is obviously a colour he gravitates towards. I am wondering if having lost out in dreadful circumstances last year and this year proving to be tough both on track and off it (the earing debate, no longer taking the kneee) if he is simply giving a two finger gesture in his clothing choices. There clearly is something being communicated.
