Lewis might be getting a time penalty here for being too far behind the safety car on the way to the grid
What the DRS has shown is that Red Bull have redesigned their car to improve it. There as an article on YouTube I saw the other day saying exactly this. Watching all the other cars trying to overtake, especially Sainz on Gasly for a few laps is the rest of the grid are pretty inefficient using it compared to the Red Bull.
Considering they were saying Sainz was lapping almost as fast as Max before he overtook Gasly I’m very surprised he’s still nearly 2 seconds behind Alonso even in free air.
A Red Flag??, That won’t go down well with Red Bull, gives Lewis a chance on softs to overtake at the start, and without DRS gives him a chance of the win…..
Lewis has had 2 good starts so far, and Alonso will be itching for a good start. Still expect Max to stay in front and win….
