Of course I am, as you've so brilliantly outed me as a fraud, and a Millwall fraud to boot. I owe my new reputation entirely to you. Chapeau!

People without a sense of humour or self awareness shouldn’t pretend otherwise.

Poor behaviour by you to post on here, then
Keep running back to CL telling girly tales.

As you know they don't allow that on CL.

You got me again Royston, yes I'm lucky enough to be a happy chap. Happy to be me. Unfortunately only one of us can be me though. You're out of luck again.

Can we talk football now? Even I get bored of hearing all about myself from you.

How would I know mate. Thought Eamon Dunphy was very good when flying down the wing though.

I'm almost literally feeling very sad that a true legend such as yourself feels so little of me. I'm not sure I'll ever get over it.

Eamon Dunphy was not a winger he was a central midfield player. Saw him when he used to play at Millwall and Charlton. Doug Allder and Derek Possee were better wingers.

It is my guilty secret, don't tell TC. I used to watch Millwall when Charlton weren't playing at home and I couldn't afford to travel. They had a decent team then. Bryan King, Barry Kitchener, Burnett, Barry Bridges, Eamon Dunphy, Derek Possee, Frank Saul, Doug Allder.
Luckily I was cured and gave up the bad habit.

We had a statement by Murray that the take-over should be done in February. We've also had a series of confusing leaks from both sides about the take-over. We've been told to be patient. We've been told the take-over is dead. Now we are told officially that it's not dead yet but there are problems. No promises, no timeline, just more maybe. This is not the time to celebrate.

That's odd, I've always thought of him as a wide player. I was only eight or nine though, and clearly didn't know any more about football than I do now. Funnily enough I always though you were a young chap Mr Plumb.

I have got the mind of an eighteen year old and the body of a seventy year old. My Dad is to blame for taking me to Charlton. I was seven. 1961/62 season. I was addicted from an early age.

"It's not dead yet but there are problems"

That's a very negative interpretation of what the statement says.
The take-over is expected to be completed, by the Club and the new investors.
To me that says the take-over is still progressing towards completion.

Several factors are offered as explanations (or excuses if you wish) for the long time that has passed getting to this stage.
But to say the take-over is "not dead yet" implies it is in serious trouble.
Why would this statement be agreed by both parties and released on the CAFC website if the take-over was in serious trouble?

And where are the sources of these leaks? They have all been nothing more than rumours and claims made by people claiming to be ITK. This statement is 100% official, in black and white for everybody to see. Carries rather more weight for me than posts on forums from people who say they heard this or heard that.

I cannot explain what Richard Murray says, except to conclude sadly that he has misled supporters to suit his own ends.
But I think RM will almost certainly be part of Charlton's past before very long, like RD and the other remnants of his administration at the Valley.

And I do not recall suggesting anybody should celebrate. I was just surprised nobody even seems to be happy, even a little bit.
