It makes no sense how he can still be in a position to sell players, but if he can it doesn't say much for this takeover. Would love to know what these 'variables' are..?
It may be that Bauer's agent is pushing the sale through and doesn't want to wait for takeover and perhaps the Aussies aren't that fussed about keeping the BFG ?

Perhaps it is the player himself who has decided he wants to go, as others have suggested. I can't see why Duchatelet would have any personal involvement in such a move. If RD is in the UK I would have thought it would be primarily for other reasons, such as selling a football Club.

Rich Cawley has Tweeted this morning that Charlton are prepared to sell Konsa & Magennis, regardless of the takeover. Not sure this says anything positive about Andrew Muir’s budget for getting us out of League One. I wouldn’t be sorry to see the donkey Magennis go.
