Good article - one point I would make is that it is the club itself that has built up the fans expectations as well as Mr. Bruce ("shopping in Harrods"). I also think it is not too much to ask for the fans of a club of Sunderland’s size/financial clout to expect more than relegation fears and nervy end of season run-ins.
