Unfortunate as it has added to the atmosphere in the past.

I think the club could have capitalised on this by making the bits of card vouchers for say 10% off anything on the concourse. Or if that's asking too much just use the training nets all the way along where the display is and encourage fans to throw them into that and gather them up straight away.

Or, and maybe I’m asking too much here, the fans could just not throw stuff on the pitch?

Orrr.... could it not have been moved to the West Stand? I may be wrong, but the "Roker End" (it's not like) is usually where all the match day gangsters like to stand. If the same thing happened again, then fair enough, but to pull the plug after one incident is a tad expeditious.

The North stand is a none starter because the fans from Middlesbrough would be throwing chemical waste over the top.

The lads asked if they could do the display in the East Stand and were turned down.

Reading the thread over the road it looks like the mag ex-copper we have employed as our head of safety.

The safety manager at SAFC is an ex copper and mag supposedly

Something needs to be said at next RAWA meeting mind, Davison can add it to his ever growing “I’ll look into it” list. Jobsworth.
