Thanks (to some)! It's true that Rodgers did comment on Dempsey at a press conference, which he shouldn't have done. Since then he's kept his mouth firmly shut about it - like in the video link I provided. Not quite 'Arry yet. Knowing me Rodgers will come out later and say 'Dempsey? Ah he's a great lad, 'triffic player'. I do have to maintain that the whole NESV site-gate thing was human error and nothing to do with the club. Why would we destroy our own deal? That's another thought. It's not a case of blindly defending the team I support - it's just not true. No football for me today due to the Europa League but a day to prepare for City whipping us is no bad thing.

You all do realise that complaint wasn't made against Liverpool as a club, it was made against Rodger's alone for his comments in the media. FSG nor LFC have any control of what happens at NESN it is a completely different company with no crossover in staff or communication direct with LFC. The only way they are connected is that FSG own both but that has no bearing on the matter. FSG have no control, nor they care about what goes on that website. Just like with LFC and the Red Sox there is an appointed CEO totally controls the different businesses and fSG leave them to it unless a change of leadership is needed. Not one person at LFC or FSG would have any knowledge about that article going up on the website, just as LFC have no involvement with the Red Sox. By some peoples theories on here, if the Red Sox do something wrong, then LFC can be apportioned blame just because they have the same owners. The lad who uploaded the article or video overnight was an unpaid work experience kid helping out on the instruction of his Manager. How does that have any bearing on LFC or FSGs conduct or accountability? The simple point is it doesn't. It was out of FSGs and LFCs hands and they knew nothing about it. John Henry and Werner didn't even know we'd bought Borini or Allen ffs, so they weren't going to know anything about Dempsey neither, except maybe he was on our list of targets. They don't get involved and leave everything to the club staff. Obviously this is clear to most, except for the people with agendas who just want to blame LFc and Rodgers for anything as an excuse to hate.
