Rodwell had so much promise when he broke through at Everton. Another greedy **** who wanted to play for Man City reserves instead of develop at a club that was the right level for him. Absolute ****er and I'm glad his career is in tatters.

Make him stand in a barrel of **** and watch endless replays of his pathetic attempt at scoring a goal.

Defoe is a striker and always has been. He missed as easy a chance against West Brom. One v one with more time than Rodwell and hit the keeper. Not defending Rodwell as his miss was poor (understatement alert) but it's funny how easily the crowd turn on a misplaced Rodwell or Cattermole pass but Defoe remains immune from it. He gave the ball away twice against Leicester in very good areas. Thought he was awful personally. (He's not alone)

The difference with Rodwell is he gets himself in goalscoring positions unlike Catts and Mvilla (whos not exactly playing particullary well lately either).
Shame hes shyte at finishing though.

Agree totally but I feel a little for him. The crowd slated him when he missed. Defoe has missed chances that are (finishing ability wise) as easy as Rodwell!! Just wish our crowd weren't so toxic. So quick to turn on certain players. The ones around me shouted shoot last week to someone. They shot, it went well wide, they got on the players back! Annoys the hell out of me
