I like this. I usually prefer it to having 2 holding men.

I think I will edit my team and put Henderson in for extra strength defensively.

  2. I think it depends on who you are playing and what you intend to do with the fullbacks. IMO, we could only do it against the lowest league teams such as Southampton (no offence).

I prefer the 4231 with two sitting midfielders, one being a DM (Mascherano) the other a CM (Alonso), and let the fullbacks bomb on as much as they like. Mascherano was superb at covering for them, plus he was quick so not only was he able to get across the field but he was also instrumental in our counter-attacks from set-pieces. Javier was always the furthest forward (edge of our box) and chased down the loose balls etc <ok>

(I may have gone a little off track there <laugh>)

    ------------------------Reina---------------------
    ---------------Skrtel-----------Agger-------------
    ---Johnson-----------------------------Enrique----
    -------------Gerrard----------Henderson-----------
    ------------------------Suso----------------------
    -------Sterling------------------------Assaidi------
    -----------------------Suarez---------------------

Midfield will actually be more like:
    ---------cb-----cb------
    ------------14-----------
    -------8-----------------
    -------------30----------

The CB's and DM almost create a back three when the FB's attack.

  4. I wonder how many people will have to look up who's numbers they are <laugh>

PS - you wanted 5 and 37 in defense <ok>

I know the 5 and 37. I thought as I was talking about the midfield I would only highlight them.

Going off topic, I wonder when Sterling and Suso will get number changes and what they will get...

Sterling 7 looked good yesterday, but that is Suarez's number.

Marinez introduced passing play to Swansea so had a tougher job.

He's been consistent in keeping Wigan in the PL, while Rodgers did it once. And for that and a PowerPoint presentation he got a chance at a big club and all the patience in Sesame St.

Swansea only got 4 more points than Wigan last season.

I'm not sure I can see Sahin signing. I like the sound of Suso 4.

ahhh, but do you know the three numbers before 4?

  19. Can't wear 1 as I have a half fixed broken arm.

Refuse to wear two because it is bad luck, broke said arm in that number and previously snapped my right ankle tendons in it too.

Can't wear three, no left foot <ok>
