Top 4 is a must anything above that is a bonus. BR is showing the team he has confidence in them GOOD ON HIM

 

Wouldn't say top 4 is a must this season - competing for 4th is ideal, and if we are still in with a shout going into the last 5 games or so then it would have been a good building season in BR's first in charge.

 

Would make for an interesting derby at the start of May for sure!

Our final run isn't too bad with West Ham (H), Reading (A), Chelsea (H), Everton (H), Fulham (A), QPR (H) as the final 6 games.

 

How crucial might those games be btw?

 

Oh and Newcastle away after Chelsea

Some important games against teams competing for 4th (Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle?) and teams possibly fighting relegation in Reading & QPR. Wins against Everton & Newcastle really could make all the difference.

 

That is my worry, if we are right there or there abouts all of those games are going to be tough. You saw what Wigan, QPR did last year, Reading might be well out of it at that point but who knows.

 

Stop worrying about other teams! You can only control your own form and attitude. Let them worry about their own destinies.

If, at the end of the season we are 'on a roll' that's what we have to work towards. So far, there is no 'stand-out' team. Nobody we have to be afraid of. So it's all good THE FUTURE'S RED

don't even see 2nd as an option, but what Brendan said was true, but surprised if we made up the gap, depends as well what happens in Jan as to if we have a realistic chance of top 4 or not.

Both Manchester clubs for top 2,cant see anyone catching them, then the rest could be anybodies really, as there is no consistency from anyone.

Yet in the same breath they will say our defence is sh!t that's why we concede so many or not win, so which fkn is it?

The quality of this league has plummeted and anyone that cannot see the complete obvious truth...

We should be 4th already looking at the dross above us. If those teams perform as they have been we should be expecting 4th

 

And imagine how much MFG will still slag him off for not winning the title
