Reading that Rodgers is set to be named as the new Leicester boss??? Should we be worried about Celtic looking at Jack Ross?? I am!!!!
Not worried at all, Celtic can’t get promoted to the Premier League, we can. The right man for Leicester to go for in my opinion as a side note. Looks a good fit.
Its a change of philosophy for them. Players like Vardy won't be suited to tippy tappy. I'm not sure Leicester fans are going to be ecstatic over this.
Players like Vardy certainly aren’t suited to how Puel has them playing, they have a very, very good squad of players. Celtic play fast, attacking football, which would perfectly suit Leicester’s squad in my opinion.
I don't think they'll be that bothered. They've been stuttering all season and he knows that Rangers are coming back so next season he would have needed to actually do more than just turn up to win the league.
I doubt Celtic would consider Jack Ross at present. I fully expect that to change in the future though
I was laughing at some of the comments on the BBC website. They cant believe he is taking a 'step down' to Leicester from Celtic. In my opinion going to any club in the Prem and most clubs in the Championship is a step up from managing in a one horse race in Scotland.
Absolutely right. Leicester is a great club with a very good squad as well. Celtic and Rangers would be huge clubs were they in the Premier League. They aren’t though.
I think its a good move for Leicester. I don't particularly warm to the man but I reckon the players will respond to him. Interesting to see in summer if Schmeichel and Maguire look for a move to a bigger club.
Aye there’s nowhere to go. If anything it’s a prime time to get out as Rangers are coming back at them big time. He will see Leicester as a way back to a top club as well I’d imagine, he’s done amazing in real terms at Celtic, but he’s also done as expected, he’s had no test and they’ve failed in Europe.
He's been named as Leicester City's new manager after leaving his job at Celtic. The Northern Irishman has signed a contract until June 2022 and succeeds Claude Puel, who was sacked on Sunday after 16 months in charge. It marks a Premier League return for Rodgers, who previously managed Liverpool and Swansea City. "I'm very privileged and honoured to be here as Leicester City manager," Rodgers said. Here we go with the dominos . . . .
I think it's fair to say he's done better than expected. It's like Barcelona under Pep and Barca under anyone else. There's a difference between being the best team and generally winning most things and actually winning pretty much everything!
