That's pretty much what I meant mate but I'm not that arsed about the thread tbh ............ I reckon Torres scored almost a goal a game in his first season, he's way short of that now.
That's exactly it, the story is most likely bollox anyway, I honestly think Johnson would be mad to leave Sunderland at the moment, from an outsider looking in I think you guys are on the way up and have a great young manager that players will love to play for.
Cheers, from having 1 point for 'half the season' this has turned into a huge adventure and could be a season we'll never forget. Avoiding relegation, after the start we've had, would be incredible enough.
Not much of a right up was it? There's not a lot here: Sunderland's win at Newcastle was a great result and I was particularly impressed by Black Cats manager Gus Poyet, who did not make a big song and dance about that win, but has turned the whole club around. Hull need a win after losing every league game they played in January. They only drew with Tottenham last weekend but might have nicked the three points there. I don't think Steve Bruce's side are as bad as their recent form suggest and, once Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic click, they will start scoring goals and they will be fine. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 Josh's prediction: 3-1
You only have to look at what happened to Bent since he left us, went and signed for that big team Villa and then went onto bigger things with Fulham. Pity really considering he was doing well for us whilst he was here.
To be fair, that's exactly why I think they'll struggle ........ Bruce, and many Hull fans, think they've cracked it now they have those two. IMO, they're both average low scorers and Hull will go 'long ball' to accommodate them. I'll be surprised, but pleased, if Bruce plays them both at the SOL. I just don't think either can drop back effectively into midfield if Sunderland get their passing going. Alonso & Bardsley are proving very effective at attacking alternately and I reckon that will really stretch the Hull midfield. Thankfully the sometimes excellent Huddlestone appears to have settled into his usual 'comfort zone' and might struggle.
thats all whats needed ,give our boy gus a relative blank canvas if we stay up and hang on to your hats
