I also heard an interview he did yesterday talking about his summer recruitment plans being well advanced but never once mentioned players he had out on loan. I think Borini fits into the Poyet way of playing and is enjoying life here. Its surely not beyond the realms of possibility that Duck Dodgers would take a wedge of cash (they will want the £11m they paid I'd guess) to fund his new targets? We should be asking stupid money though for our players as I think we give them away too cheaply when others come knocking. Borini cant get a game for Liverpool whereas AJ has (at last that is) become the player we all hoped we had signed 2 years ago. You are right of course though in that its taken AJ 2 seasons to show us what we were buying. This lad Scocco can play wide midfield as well and prefers that role by all accounts? That said, now he has started to play, I'd be gutted to see him leave as I think in Poyet he has found a manager to get the best from him.
