He's been playing well for you but he needs to knock in a few more, has he been taking free kicks? He take a good free kick from the right of the box.

This isn't even paper talk, it's the Fat Controller getting his revenge for the derby humiliation. The 'story' came from SportDirect.com News! Look at their 'disruptive', sh!t stirring stories since derby day:

    Johnson / Borini swap
    Moannone off
    Giaccherini back to Italy
    Bardsley wanted by other clubs

    etc, etc

They just make it up then the other media repeats, it hurts moral & puts ideas in people's heads. I can't believe that he's being so childish. Why doesn't he concentrate on his own sorry excuse for a club before undermining ours?

    Fat tw*t!

But Downing was on fire for Villa before we signed him and playing a lot better than Adam Johnson is for you now, my point is that these players cant handle the pressure of playing for a club where you are expected to win every week. Johnson failed at City and Downing failed at Liverpool.

Yes downing was on fire for villa and Johnson admittedly was up &down for citeh. Your point is invalid, why? Johnson is in fine form! Downer is just that. How can you say Adam would struggle at your club based on him being used sparingly under Mancini. Can you see the future? I don't think so mate.

Rodgers is an annoying kernt, all right. We need to keep players like AJ if we're to become a solid Prem outfit, not sell them as back-ups to clubs like LFC.

That's nonsense though, for every player you can name I can post one that contradicts your daft thesis.

Although, to be fair, Fernando Torres was the highest scoring foreigner, ever, in his first season with Liverpool but went to a big club and was dogshit.

This is how I see it. A good opportunity for us to keep Borini and tell the slimeball to fook off.

Must say that this was my first thought as well. Rodgers is a ****er of the highest possible calibre and this must be a massive slap in the face for Borini. I also heard an interview he did yesterday talking about his summer recruitment plans being well advanced but never once mentioned players he had out on loan.

I think Borini fits into the Poyet way of playing and is enjoying life here. Its surely not beyond the realms of possibility that Duck Dodgers would take a wedge of cash (they will want the £11m they paid I'd guess) to fund his new targets?

Lets wait until the end of the season and see what happens.

PS - AJ wont be going anywhere unless a massive club record offer was forthcoming. £20m+ might be a temptation too far for us?

To be honest Cest, AJ's had such a rotten time over the last few seasons I can't see him risking that.

Besides if Liverpool want to spend big money on him after 2 months good form then I'd be amazed ........... mind you, they did that with Andy Carrol <yikes>

as in Borini +£10m? that would be nice and it could get us Ki with a net spend of nowt.

AJ would still have to be replaced though.

    edit : I was forgetting we have Larsson...wtf am I saying :emoticon-0101-sadsm

We should be asking stupid money though for our players as I think we give them away too cheaply when others come knocking. Borini cant get a game for Liverpool whereas AJ has (at last that is) become the player we all hoped we had signed 2 years ago. You are right of course though in that its taken AJ 2 seasons to show us what we were buying.

This lad Scocco can play wide midfield as well and prefers that role by all accounts? That said, now he has started to play, I'd be gutted to see him leave as I think in Poyet he has found a manager to get the best from him.

Good point that. Could be Poyet is way ahead of all of us.

Be surprised if he wasn`t tbh he certainly seems to have his head screwed on.

Fernando Torres has been so dogshit since joining Chelsea that he has won the champs league, the fa cup, and the Europa league. That's not bad for someone who is dogshit.

Yeah. didn't think that through tbh ........... it's just such a pointless argument and I can't really be bothered to think about it.

I shouldn't have posted about a daft media invention about a transfer swap that will never happen and it won't happen again <ok>

Individually though I think it would be fair to say he is a shadow of the player he was at Liverpool
