Sorry meant to quote BR statement lol..nothing to do with your post!
ah got you, no i know it was nothing to do with my post, just haven't heard anything about an ex keeper tweet and wondered what that was all about.

you on about reina?

I will always be a fan & all I want now is to see the old Liverpool come back for the players and the supporters who deserve the best. YNWA

Yeah...if it had come at any other time it sounds nice enough but first tweet about us in months comes a day after the guy who sold him gets sacked..?

tbh mate I think that's fair enough. Without getting into all the Reina flirted with Barcelona stuff, I think he should never have been sold and his not being our keeper season before last was more to do with why we lost the title than Gerrard's much documented slip. Don't be surprised to see more tweets etc from ex players on how they felt they were treated.

it was a bit odd considering reina would have made more sense to how brendan wanted us to play as well from the back.

i think internal politics came into play there sadly, and it was a choice between the 2, and the guy on cheaper wages won.

another what if moment <laugh>

Cork men hate all things Dublin saint, they even drink Murphy's stout instead of the much better stout from St James's Gate in Dublin.<whistle>

You're pushing it  I'm from Cork City in the south not the county with a south/ southwest/ west coastline. That black ****e from Dublin is poison. Murphys or Beamish for this octopus loving hermaphrodite <ok>

I'm not blaming him on how he feels rightly or wrongly just don't think he's showing much class or maturity which cements my opinion of his personality a bit.

i do like beamish, both black and red( no others is there?) like a bit of caffreys as well, nice and smooth.

You can't discuss the latter without the former, though.

Looking at our squad I think we have a decent set of players for a new manager to start building with. But at the same time I think only 4 of our players are safe. Coutinho, Sturridge, Sakho and Clyne. These are our only players who have consistently shown top 4 ability in a Liverpool shirt and look capable of walking into any top 4 team. Benteke, Firmino, Lallana, Ings, Henderson, Moreno, Mignolet and Can (and Markovic?) offer great potential but it is either down to the new manager to get the best out of them or them to prove themselves to the manager. I think Skrtel, Lovren, Toure and Allen could be in real danger. Milner and Lucas are reliable if not incredible, they are safe if they want to be.
