Same names you were shouting before Moyes got booted (once you changed your tune on Moyes of course)

Its quite well known I am no fan of Ancelotti. Wouldn't have minded Klopp butbyirns out he wasn't as good as people thought.

Wanted Jose or Pep. Thought van Gaal would retire. Never wanted Moyes at any point and seriously disapproved of his appointment.

We were a top club who had just dominated the league though so the biggest names being linked wasn't weird.

You're clubs not. Not even close. So aiming for elite level managers is just <laugh.

Alan Pardew, now there's a manager who would actually get you guys on track. And I am not taking the piss. You guys however still believe you are above the likes of him.

Imagine how much worse this could have been had we managed to actually win the title. He'd have had two more grace years left yet.

Mind, I'd have taken it too lol

This has been the problem it's not been **** enough for the insta-sack and it's not been good enough to go anywhere, it's been absolute mediocrity 75% of the time

None of its true. Your owners are still morons. Surely you can see this. Everyone else can.

Nah they're ok because [nsfw] They are in talks at the moment with the Dubai royal family about buying the club. The Maktoums want to branch into football investment due to falling oil prices[/nsfw]. Morons in the field of football possibly but business certainly not.

So you might become City then. Shameful.

Nobody will ever remember you winning anything again. Do you remember City winning anything? Nor does anyone else.

Seriously, would you be for it or against it? How desperate are you for success?

I remember city winning the league in injury time when you and the rest of the utd fans were singing championes <laugh>

Honestly I'd be against going the city route but a season or two snapping up top quality and then just add one or two players every other season ala Real Madrid , **** yeah.

We were Champions though, for a few more minutes.

"An end of season review at which Liverpool’s progress under the manager would come under scrutiny was always going to take place on Merseyside, but before it happened, Gordon and the club’s chief executive, Ian Ayre, worked hard to support Rodgers, arresting the rising feeling against him by presenting a staunch defence to Fenway’s principal owner, John W Henry, and its chairman, Tom Werner".

"For all the disquiet, though, Gordon and Ayre remain convinced by Rodgers and provided their word continues to hold sway, he will not be sacked".

Hence the "the board is split " quote but "JW has stepped in and over ruled the board" quotes

Good news lads. villa are awful but regardless of the result there's always hope.

Liverpool lose, Sherwood joins as manager, instant success. If that doesn't work then Mick McCarthy is always available, even when he's not. Like Rodgers, he's not afraid to drop his entire first team for potentially their biggest game in years. The man management skills are eerily similar.

On a serious note (this will be hard but I will try), telling a man he's sacked but not until Monday has got to be one of the stupidest, most insane things you can do..

Oi, Mr Rodgers, just letting you know that from Monday, clear your desk, your fired....

Real motivation for the weekends game. Your club is run by morons.

Well, you tried- but couldn't quite pull it off, eh?
